GIS FEES
The following is a listing of fees associated with the new
City of Quinte West Community Interactive GIS application that was launched on
November 18, 2005. This community interactive GIS application is the most
advanced community socio-economic web based application existing right now in
the Province. From the comfort of your home you can access the City’s web site
(www.quintewest.on.ca) and enter the public GIS (Geographic Information System)
and view the City like never before. Detailed mapping illustrating individual
parcels, street names, topographical detail (i.e. watercourses, woodlands)
aerial photography (scale 1:12000), municipal features (parks, fire and police
stations, recreational facilities) and community features (schools, churches,
cemeteries). This GIS application will also allow the public detailed
information on the City of Quinte West business and agricultural community by
illustrating the name and location of any business in Quinte West, a link to
their website (if applicable), photo, and any applicable PDF file information to
share with the public.
